These terms apply when you use Centave (the “site”), operated by TODO: Centave legal entity name (Italy). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

Centave provides free calculators and explainers for paying off debt — credit cards, loans, and payoff strategies. The calculators run entirely in your browser: the numbers you enter are never sent to or stored on our servers.

Education only — not financial advice

Everything on this site is for education. It is not financial, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a personal recommendation. Your card issuer or lender's statements are the authoritative source for your balances, rates, and required payments — confirm any decision with them, or with a qualified adviser, before acting.

No warranty on results

We work hard to keep the math correct — see our methodology for how each calculator is built and tested. Results are still estimates: they depend on the numbers you enter and on assumptions (like a constant APR and on-time payments) that may not match your real account. We make no warranty that results will match what your issuer or lender actually charges.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape it at abusive volumes, attempt to disrupt it, misrepresent its content as your own, or use it for anything unlawful.

Intellectual property

The site's content, design, and code are owned by TODO: Centave legal entity name (Italy) or its licensors. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution; you may not republish whole pages or calculators without permission.

Third-party links

We link to external sources — for example the Federal Reserve and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau — for the figures we cite. Those sites have their own terms and we aren't responsible for their content.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. Read how we make money — in short, ads never change the math or what we recommend.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TODO: Centave legal entity name (Italy) is not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the current version always lives at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in the date below.
